Capital Campaign


Purpose:

A capital campaign committee has been tasked with raising enough money that will allow us to grow new ministries that will support church members and community needs.

 

Our immediate goals are as follows:

  1. Expand our small group and Sunday school meeting space by building 2-3 additional educational classrooms in existing location.

  2. Replenish funds used to purchase house on 2733 Canby St

  3. Purchase satellite location in Penbrook for the creation of a community center and meeting space for additional small and large group ministries.

 

Why do we need to expand?

•        Classrooms are full

•        No new space for growing ministries

•        Events every day/night

 

Goal:  $500,000

 

Background:

The Administrative Counsel gave approval to form a team that would be tasked to creatively come up with a plan/solution that would provide our church with the capability to grow its ministries. The Dream Team was formed to accomplish a number of short term plans but unable to pursue the long term goals without the financial resources. A motion was made to start a capital campaign and raise enough money to accommodate the Churches growth.
